The week, which premieres on Star Wars on Thursday, also starts off good for Harry Potter fans, as the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them finally comes out.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an adaptation of the textbook in the Harry Potter world that catalogs 75 species of magical creatures across five continents. The new trilogy will feature the travels of Scamander, the author of the book, 70 years before the wizard Harry Potter’s journey begins.
The cast consists of Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler, Gemma Chan, Jon Voight and Carmen Ejogo. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, directed by David Yates, will hit theaters on November 17, 2016. The sequels are scheduled for 2018 and 2020.
